Antique / vintage mother of pearl riviere necklace, open backed pale gold tone settings, beautiful MOP cabochons, large floral pendant drop

Beautiful antique / vintage gilt metal and mother of pearl cabochon riviere necklace with a central large pendant drop. The necklace consists of linked individual panels each containing a large, round or teardrop shaped mother of pearl cabochons claw set in an open backed setting. The faintly gilded metal settings are so pale as to appear almost silver toned.

The central feature has a large daisy design pendant drop with navette / marquise shaped MOP cabochons around a circular centre. This is a beautiful piece with a slim choker length around the neck of about 15.5 inches.

It fastens with a secure spring ring clasp and is in good vintage condition.
