Antique / vintage gold tone brown and white banded agate six cabochon brooch

Vintage / antique rustic hand-crafted brooch with six cabochons of banded agate set in gold tone metal. This is an artisan piece so perhaps is an Arts and crafts piece from the late 19th and early 20th century. I initially assumed it would be Victorian as the use of banded agate was so common during that period.

The brooch has a length of just under 1.5 inches and a width of 1 inch. It fastens with an antique C hook clasp and pin. It is in quite good vintage condition - many of its irregularities were present in its creation as a hand-made artisan piece!
