Antique Victorian unmarked 9ct gold bullseye banded agate onyx large oval cabochon, red and green enamel work flowers and red rhinestone bracelet

Fabulous antique banded agate (also known as banded onyx, but this is usually called agate in this style of jewellery) oval cabochon panel bracelet. These cabochons are particularly good examples, with pale stripes around the edge of each forming a 'bullseye'. In between the agate cabochons are floral panels with pretty red and green enamelling. The two panels nearer the clasp have simple red glass rhinestones, perhaps having lost the enamelled flowers. The yellow metal is not stamped or hallmarked but tests as 9ct gold.

The bracelet has a length of 7.5 inches. It fastens with a beautifully engineered secure push-in box clasp that clicks into the end cabochon setting. The bracelet is in good vintage condition. Overall it weighs 18 grams.
