Antique sterling silver and large citrine yellow paste rhinestone brooch, pretty flower and leaf design, stamped 'SILVER', weighs 8 grams

Antique sterling silver brooch with a large central yellow stone. I believe this is a large, oval cut paste rhinestone, but I have not tested it. The silver around the gemstone has been beautifully formed into a lovely flower and leaf design.

It is very well crafted with the front design supported on an oval silver frame. It fastens with a simple antique C hook clasp and pin. The brooch is about 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide and is in very good vintage condition. It is stamped on the reverse with the word 'SILVER' and does test as solid silver.
