Antique real cultured pearl choker necklace, large equal sized pearls, hand-knotted, pretty sterling silver clasp, classic chic

Beautiful string of real cultured pearls, fastening with a beautiful engraved sterling silver and real pearl fish hook clasp. Each bead is individually hand-knotted and the quality is excellent. The beads are the same size all the way round and the necklace has a slim choker length of about 15 inches.

This is a classic, staple wardrobe piece that is a gorgeous gift to be given, instantly becoming a family heirloom! These pearls are old and I believe were cultured in sea water - they are certainly not the freshwater pearls that are available quite cheaply from China and other Asian countries. The real pearl embellished fish hook clasp is stamped 'silver' on the reverse. The necklace is in very good vintage condition.
