Antique faceted rock crystal locket pendant in unmarked silver, paired with a more modern 18-inch sterling silver chunky curb chain

Absolutely stunning antique faceted rock crystal locket with sterling silver chunky curb chain necklace. The two rack crystal halves of the locket are solid so there is just a slim gap between them designed for photos (two could be put back-to-back), pressed flowers or other mementos that can then be seen through the crystal. It is hard to photograph a piece like this to show its full glow and beauty!

The chain necklace has a length of about 18 inches, and fastens with a secure spring ring clasp. It is a relatively modern chain that has been paired with the locket in more recent times. It is stamped 925 for sterling silver on each end near the clasp.

It is in good vintage condition, with some minor ageing to the silver settings and hinge on the locket, but only very tiny nibbles to the rock crystal. The locket weighs 10.1 grams and the sterling silver curb chain weighs 4.8 grams. This beautiful piece is provided for sale in the red velvet hinged box shown in one picture.
