This antique brooch is typical of the puzzle pin designs found in Victorian name brooches of the later 1800s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a round shape with pierced decoration; the name itself  has been arranged as a puzzle leaving anyone viewing it the fun of working out which name the letters spell.  Each individual letter has been cut out and is further decorated with various engraved patterns - a different one for each of the four letters.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis brooch is in very good vintage condition. It has a diameter of about 1.5 inches and fastens with an antique 'C' hook clasp and pin all in silver. Overall, the brooch weighs 7.5 grams.
